Susan Cowling

Susan Cowling is an owner of DLC Homeline Mortgage Services. Susan began her career as a licensed mortgage broker in 1998 and along with her spouse and partner, Randy Cowling, created the largest mortgage brokerage franchise network in British Columbia. By 2008, Meridian Financial Services Ltd. had 23 franchises located throughout BC and Alberta and was funding just under 1 Billion in mortgages annually. Susan and Randy merged their network with a large national mortgage brand in 2008, and fast forward to today, their company continues to be one of the most successful franchises in Canada. Along with guaranteeing the best interest rates, Susan has access to every available mortgage lender in Canada, including the major banks, credit unions, trust companies and mortgage specific lenders. Susan knows the 'Good, Bad and Ugly' of all Canadian mortgage products, and can explain the benefits and drawbacks of each in order to help clients make a decision that is best for their personal situation.

When Shawna became a team member in 2015, she brought with her several years of previous experience on the lending side of the business. In working with one of the largest banks in Canada, Shawna's team funded the highest amount of mortgages consistently earning them top awards for both volumes funded and also exemplary customer service. Shawna is a client favorite due to her knowledge and experience, but mostly her understanding of the importance of providing service above and beyond with frequent communication and always keeping our clients in the loop!
